Take a good look at your stack of shirts. Many shirts will have a front and a back, both with logos. The blocks in the quilt are made with the large logos. There are LOTS of different ways to tackle your own particular pile of shirts. Please email me for suggestions. When sending your shirts, please attach a piece of paper that indicates your desires for each shirt.

“Extras”
Small shirt pocket logos, sleeve logos, etc. can be added to your quilt for an additional charge. For instance, if the back of your shirt has a large logo and there’s a small one on the front in the corner, I can take the small one, sew it onto the large one and make it so both are included. These are defined as “extras” and are $5 each.

Large logos on front and back
If your shirt has a large logo on the front and back, then you need to decide which of the logos you want in the quilt or you can have both in 2 different blocks!

Color Selection
I like to use a color that the customer likes or is meaningful to them. Forget trying to match. You will never get all those different colors of shirts to match completely! What you want to be aware of in selecting your sashing color is if any shirts match the fabric. For instance, if you have a green shirt and you select green as the color of your sashing, then the shirt will “wash out” and your quilt will appear to have a “hole.” In order to still use the green fabric and the shirt, there needs to be a piece of fabric separating the shirt from the sashing in an accent color. This is also $5.

Number of Logos
If you do not have a “standard” number of logos then we may need to be “creative” to produce a pleasing effect in the quilt. It could be that there are lots of small logos that could be added. Maybe you are short a few shirts and might want a name in the center of the quilt or some “regular” quilt blocks to bring it up to a standard size. I can also add varsity letters to the centers of plain pieces of fabric to make more blocks. The prices of these modifications vary.
